American’s teachers have been silenced and bullied for years by state and national government unions who use fear, intimidation, isolation and ignorance to control them. Many teachers have no idea their dues are being used to fund a highly divisive political agenda, and those of us who are aware and even speak out are shut down, mocked, and terrorized by union forces. America’s teachers deserve better. As citizens who care about the needs of children, families and the teachers who serve them, let’s adopt our loving teachers and help them to stand up to their oppressors.
Embrace, Educate, Enlighten, Empathize, Encourage, Empower
We all have teachers in our lives. Choose one whom you know to be a good person who wants to do what’s best for America’s kids and families.
Adopt that teacher today. Right now.
Teachers are the key to bringing safety and healing to our schools and country because state and national teachers’ unions use millions in teacher dues (behind teachers’ backs and against their wills) to push SeXXX ed curriculums, and divisive social and political agendas that are against the values treasured by the great majority of America’s families and teachers. But most teachers have no idea their dues are being spent on these things because state and national unions won’t tell teachers how their dues are spent, so we must educate them. You can begin helping teachers to see the truth about state and national unions by sharing our stories and videos, and we’ll add more content regularly, so please visit often.
For Kids and Country asks you to join us because we love teachers and kids and we know our teachers will need our one on one support to stand up to the abuse of state and national unions. Most teachers love their local associations (run by their teacher colleagues) and we can understand why – local associations are often fantastic and actually support teachers’ needs. But locals are trapped in an abusive relationship with the state and national unions which are run by bully union political activists.
Standing together, we can restore our schools and culture For Kids and Country!
Here’s How
- Invite your teacher to coffee, breakfast, lunch, or dinner—pay the bill in honor of good teachers.
- Share some highlights of what you’ve learned and gift your teacher a copy of Rebecca’s book, Standing Up To Goliath.
- Make a commitment to stand by your adopted teacher for the long haul, including supporting him/her with other action steps highlighted in the book and on this website. Teachers have been totally isolated and abused for years, so we can’t expect them to fight their oppressors alone.
- Repeat this process with as many teachers as you can, and connect them with other teachers, parents, mature students and citizens to build a coalition.
Follow The Six E’s
Embrace: Surround your adopted teacher with lots of love and support—lots of it! Remember, unions have worked to isolate teachers to make them feel powerless; your teacher needs to know he/she is not alone. This should be a long-term commitment on your part.
Educate: Make yourself available while your adopted teacher reads the book. Answer any questions he/she might bring up. The truth sets us free, so it’s vital you help your teacher to learn the entire truth. The unions will be undermining our truth with their messaging. They will likely call us “anti-teacher” and “anti-public schools,”—who knows? Maybe they’ll label us “educator-phobes.” We have to be ready for those attacks. The more they slander us, the better we’re doing. Stand tall. Speak truth. Educate!
Enlighten: The unions use ignorance to manipulate and control teachers. Remember, the unions have monopoly control over teacher email and teacher mailboxes, so most teachers hear only the unions’ side of the story. There’s only one way to bring people out of darkness—turn on a light! Shine the light of truth into the life and heart of your teacher. This will help to free him/her from any manipulation, fear, or control he/she is under. Share your personal stories too—we overcome by the word of our testimony.
Empathize: Your adopted teacher might be too terrified to come out of the dark. He/she might be so beaten down and scared that standing up for truth, for the kids, for families, for our country, will seem far too risky. Remember, teachers believe they will lose their jobs, their livelihood, their pensions, and they are bullied when they speak out in opposition to the unions’ narrow views, so they have every reason to feel afraid. Empathize and sympathize with their situation. Do not judge them. Be kind, graceful, understanding, patient, and speak to them the way you would speak to anyone who is frightened—with gentleness. Teachers have been bullied for decades; helping them to come out into the light could take a while.
Encourage: Your adopted teacher is going to need a lot of reassurance and encouragement to take a stand for good. Be a Ruth to your teacher. Stand with him/her. Do not let your adopted teacher fight the battle alone. The teacher will likely not feel safe to ask others to stand behind him/her in support, so you need to gather up a band of brothers and sisters to stand with your brave teacher—especially on his/her school campus. Encouraged people get inspired, and they inspire others! Pour on the encouragement!
Empower: If you help your teacher to see the light, but he/she hides the light under a bushel, nothing will change. Help your teacher to take a stand. Help him/her to join our movement. Remember, union behavior disgusts most teachers, and they long to be freed, but they need support. There are numerous action steps you and your teacher can take together once you join our movement. Empowered people change the world! Stand together!
